Paray-le-Monial is one of the richest sites for history.
The Hostellerie des Trois Pigeons is located in the town centre, a few minutes fromp the main historic and religious monuments: Saint-Nicolas Tower from 16th century, Town Hall and its Renaissance facade, the Romanesque Basilica from the 11th century, la Chapelle des Apparitions, la Chapelle de la Colombière.

Paray le Monial is the ideal base for tourist circuits:
• Circuits of Romanesque Churches of Brionnais (1 day).
• Circuit "Route du Charolais" (1 day).
• Tour of Cluny only 45 km away. Tour of Autun 77 km away.
• Tour of the basilica of Sacré Coeur


Built in the 11th century, during the period of Cluny III, this church provides us with an exact idea (in a smaller version) of what it would have looked like and tells us more about the Cluny movement. Despite the structure banking, it is a masterpiece of balance and harmony.
