A flagship of the 18th century heritage, the Château de Digoine remains a witness to a rich and long past. Registering as the first of the four baronies of the Charolais, its lords held a prominent place at the court of the Dukes of Burgundy.
Jean-Louis Rémilleux, producer among other things of the program "Secrets d'Histoire", current owner, first buys the empty chateau and then, secondly, the historical elements that made it up; that during a big auction in Paris. On the other hand, passionate about old objects, he added his own collections in the majestic rooms of the castle, scrupulously ensuring that each element was consistent with the time of the room in which it is located. Finally, he undertook important works to restore this "Pearl of the Charolais" to its former glory.
